The New Monarch Wing is Making Progress!
Since breaking ground in November, the Gwynedd Mercy community has been abuzz about the amazing progress made so far on the new construction. Students and colleagues are able to see new phases of the project each day. Demolition and renovation of the kitchen and cafeteria will begin in May. The Campaign progresses with less than a million dollars to go, and we still need the help of the alumnae community to help us reach our goal. Make your mark on the new wing before June 1 by supporting A Place to Soar: -
Mercy Legacy Walk: Honor the profound contributions of the Sisters of Mercy by making a gift or pledge (to be fulfilled over 1-5 years) of $25,000 or more to be a Mercy Legacy Walk sponsor. As a sponsor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the building project overall and the Mercy Legacy Walk, where each Sister of Mercy who has served or graduated from our esteemed institution will be celebrated with an engraved brick. You also will be recognized for your support on a plaque to be installed by the walk.
- Personalized Engraved Bricks: Secure your place in the heart of the new Community Commons Courtyard by purchasing or pledging to reserve one or more personalized engraved bricks. For $1,000, reserve a 4”x8” brick with three lines of text, each containing up to 20 characters. Alternatively, for $2,500, reserve an 8”x8” brick with up to five lines of text.
-
Monarch Mosaic Photo Mural: Be a part of the dynamic 5’x7’ Monarch Butterfly Mosaic, featuring community photos, to be installed in the new wing. Viewers will interact with the mural via a wall-mounted digital tablet, exploring, zooming, and discovering each submission. Secure one spot with a $250 donation or opt for three spots for $500.
Together, let's elevate our alma mater to new heights and ensure the enduring strength of our Mercy heritage for Gwynedd girls today and for generations to come. |

They enjoyed making their pitches, sharing their knowledge, and learning about agriculture from each other!
